What is K9 crystal and why does it matter?
K9 is an optical-grade crystal glass with high clarity and a strong refractive index. Cut into multiple facets, it splits the LED into many directions at once, which is what produces the broad, sparkling diffusion this fixture is designed for.
How many lights should I choose?
2 lights suit a compact bedside or a narrow hallway. 3 and 4 light versions cover more wall and give more total output, which is the usual choice above or beside a vanity mirror.
Warm or cool white?
3000K warm white flatters bedrooms and hallways and gives the crystal a golden sparkle. 6000K cool white is sharper and more accurate at a vanity mirror, and makes the facets glitter more brightly.
Can it be mounted vertically?
Yes. It fits standard junction boxes and supports either orientation, so the same fixture can run horizontally above a mirror or vertically beside it.
Will the frame corrode in a bathroom?
The frame is electroplated steel specified as rust resistant, which is why the fixture is listed for vanity use as well as bedrooms.
Is there a bulb to replace?
No. The LED is integrated and rated for 50,000 hours, so there is no re-lamping over the life of the fixture in normal use.
What voltage does it accept?
