Which size should I choose?
The 18 in version at 9W is sized for a bedside or a narrow wall between furniture. The 30 in at 18W is a genuine statement piece, twice the output and considerably taller, intended for corridors and feature walls.
How do I switch colour temperature?
Flick your standard wall switch to step through 3000K warm, 4500K neutral and 6000K white. It needs no dimmer module, so it retrofits to existing wiring without modification.
Is brass suitable for a damp room?
The body is specified rust-proof and wear-resistant, which helps, but this is presented as a living room, bedroom and corridor fixture rather than a bathroom-rated one. For a bathroom, choose an IP-rated model.
