What is a COB LED and why does it matter?
COB stands for chip-on-board: many LED chips mounted together as a single dense emitting surface. Compared with separate diodes it gives more uniform light and softer shadows, which is why the output is described as non-dazzling.
What can I do with 270 degrees of rotation?
Enough to sweep from pointing straight up, through horizontal, to pointing straight down and beyond. On a staircase that means you can wash the treads; in a hallway you can bounce light off the ceiling instead.
Which width should I buy?
6 in at 6W is a discreet marker for a stair or porch. 12 in at 12W is the general-purpose size for hallways. 18 in at 18W is a strong horizontal band for a larger wall or a well-used corridor.
Can it be used on a porch?
Porches are among the listed applications, so it is intended for a sheltered outdoor position. For fully exposed installation choose a fixture with a stated IP rating.
Warm or cool white?
3000K warm suits a bedside or an indoor hallway you use at night. 6000K cool is clearer and more practical on stairs and porches where visibility matters most.

Can the LED be replaced?
No, the COB LED is built in. That is what allows the compact 2 in body, and there is no bulb to buy over its life.
