H65 is a copper-zinc brass alloy valued for strength and workability, which is why it is used for the arm and hardware here. It takes the antique finish evenly and holds its shape in a cantilevered high-arm fixture better than thin plated steel.
Should I choose the amber or clear glass shade?
Amber glass tints the output golden and softens the filament, which suits an evening bedside or a cosy hallway. Clear glass shows the bulb outright and throws more light into the room, which reads more strictly industrial and works better where you need brightness.
Does it come with a bulb?
