How does the 3-step colour switching work?
It is controlled from your existing wall switch - switching the light off and straight back on advances it to the next setting, cycling through warm, neutral and cool white. No dimmer module, remote or app is needed, and no rewiring beyond the normal switched supply.
What is electroplating and baking paint, and why does it matter?
Electroplating deposits a fine metal layer over the iron for the reflective sheen, and the baking paint process cures the finish under heat rather than air-drying it. Together they resist rusting and colour drift far better than a simple sprayed coat, which is why the oval keeps its metallic tone over time.
What does the textured backing do?
The back plate is textured rather than flat, so light from the integrated LED scatters as it reflects off the metal instead of bouncing back as one hard sheet. That is what produces the diffuse ambient glow around the oval and gives the fixture visual depth even when switched off.
Can I mount it vertically as well as horizontally?
