How does the 3-step colour temperature switching work?
You cycle the existing wall switch off and on to step the sconce between 3000K warm white, 4500K neutral and 6000K cool daylight. No smart hub, app or remote is required, and no extra wiring is needed beyond the standard switched supply.
Is the shade real crystal or acrylic?
It is faceted clear acrylic cut to resemble multifaceted crystal ware. Acrylic gives the same refractive sparkle at a fraction of the weight of glass crystal, which also makes it more forgiving on a plasterboard wall.
Can I replace the bulb?
No. The light source is an integrated 8W LED rather than a socketed bulb, so there is nothing to change out. The trade-off is a slimmer fixture with no visible lamp inside the clear shade.
How big is the mounting plate?
The back plate measures 8 x 4 cm (3.2 x 1.6 in), and the sconce overall is 8 x 15 x 22 cm (3.3 x 5.9 x 8.7 in). The small plate covers a standard wall box neatly and keeps the visible hardware minimal.
Does the faceted shade cause glare?
No. The facets create decorative patterns of light and shadow on the wall, but the shade itself is engineered for even, soft emission, so you get the crystal sparkle without a harsh point source in your eyeline.
Is the aluminum body suitable for a bathroom or humid room?
The body is corrosion-resistant aluminum, which handles ambient humidity better than untreated steel. It carries no published IP rating, however, so keep it out of direct spray zones such as inside a shower enclosure.
